You know my love for shoes and being, indeed, always on the lookout for new finds, I discovered, almost a year ago on Instagram, a brand of trainers more than original. I had seen a first model made from toile de jouy, a model declined in several colours, but I must say that I was at that time looking for a more sober and “passe-partout” style.
After browsing the Le Lissier website, I decided to buy this strange pair of tennis shoes made from recycled carpet scraps. From the choice of fabrics to the hand assembly, each pair is prototyped and made in Europe.
- A craft developed first in France with the development of the design and the search for fabrics in second-hand shops or warehouses.
- Then the hand is passed on to Portugal, which takes care of the manufacturing.
- And finally Italy, which combines its most beautiful leathers.
The main advantage of these shoes? Comfort! Despite their suppleness, they do not deform and remain perfectly stable over time. The soles do not slip, which means that they have perfect grip even in wet weather.
Another positive point is the versatility. In all weathers, this pair can be worn with a dress or trousers. Ideal for a day out or a relaxing evening, they will give you a discreet touch of style, elegance and above all, originality!
