Nous revoici, nous revoilà pour la première revue “Places To Be” depuis la rentrée. Cette reprise fut bien animée, c’est pourquoi je rattrape un retard de plusieurs mois avec une découverte datant d’août dernier !
C’est au détour d’un carrefour, non loin de mon travail, que j’ai découvert, grâce à mes copines, ce petit coin “franchouillard” appelé le Bistrot Émile et où nous avons profité d’un copieux déjeuner avant de nous quitter pour les vacances d’été.
Dans un esprit de petite brasserie à la française avec chaises et tables en bois, j’ai eu le plaisir de partager de charmants moments entre filles.
Au programme, croque-monsieur à la truffe pour inaugurer ma première visite et un burger au gouda pour le second tour et fêter dignement la rentrée.
Encore une belle découverte ! Mis à part pour mon goût prononcé pour les plats chargés, je dois avouer que l’ensemble de notre commande était extrêmement copieuse. Une chose est sûre, quand vous allez chez Émile, vous en avez pour votre argent.
J’ai bien l’intention d’y retourner pour me faire un avis sur les plats un peu plus légers, histoire d’avoir une vue d’ensemble de la carte et pouvoir vous faire une revue encore plus complète.

Here we are again, here we are again for the first “Places To Be” review since the beginning of the school year. It’s been a busy time, so I’m catching up on a few months’ delay with a discovery from last August!
It was at a crossroads, not far from my work, that I discovered, thanks to my girlfriends, this little “franchouillard” place called the Bistrot Émile, where we enjoyed a hearty lunch before leaving for the summer holidays.
In the spirit of a small French-style brasserie with wooden chairs and tables, I had the pleasure of sharing some charming moments with my friends.
On the programme, a croque-monsieur with truffles to inaugurate my first visit and a gouda burger for the second round and to celebrate the beginning of the school year.
Another great discovery! Apart from my pronounced taste for heavy dishes, I have to admit that our entire order was extremely copious. One thing is for sure, when you go to Emile, you get what you pay for.
I intend to go back to get a feel for the lighter dishes, so I can get an overview of the menu and give you an even more complete review.
