Au mois d’avril, nous avons eu l’occasion de nous rendre à l’exposition de Zoulli Art au Musée Grévin. À l’occasion d’un vernissage haut en couleur, nous avons découvert son travail à travers une déambulation dans l’établissement regroupant le plus de stars au mètre carré.
Exposées dans une salle au sol à damier, les œuvres de Zoulli Art ont coloré les allées du musée. De Simone Veil à Lady Gaga, les célébrités et têtes connues du monde entier se succèdent dans un tourbillon de pigments vifs et joyeux, qui nous rappelle étrangement l’esprit pop d’Andy Warhol.
Après avoir arpenté les coins et recoins de la salle, Zoulli Art nous livre son travail cette fois en live lors d’une performance en musique où nous découvrons alors ses portraits hauts en couleurs.
Sous le regard royal d’Élisabeth II, nous quittons le palais de la cire et repartons avec un regard neuf sur la peinture d’aujourd’hui.

In April, we had the opportunity to visit the Zoulli Art exhibition at the Musée Grévin. On the occasion of a colourful opening, we discovered his work through a stroll in the establishment with the most stars per square meter.
Exhibited in a room with a chequered floor, Zoulli Art’s works coloured the museum’s aisles. From Simone Veil to Lady Gaga, celebrities and famous faces from all over the world follow one another in a whirlwind of bright and cheerful pigments, strangely reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s pop spirit.
After wandering around the room, Zoulli Art delivers his work live during a musical performance where we discover his colourful portraits.
Under the royal gaze of Elizabeth II, we leave the wax palace and leave with a fresh look at today’s painting.
