This isn’t the first broth from Paris My Dear and it certainly won’t be the last either! I’ve had a real passion for Parisian broths for many years and I wonder why I haven’t reviewed them before.

For this first edition, I chose to tell you about the Bouillon Pigalle, located not far from the metro station of the same name. After half an hour of waiting in line, we sat comfortably on the terrace to enjoy a hearty meal.

On the menu, bulots-mayonnaise and pâté-cornichons to whet our appetite before moving on to the festivities. While admiring the view of the neighborhood and enjoying a light post-canicular breeze, we attacked the suite.

For Monsieur, Bistro salad with warm goat cheese toast, frisée with bacon, tomatoes, radishes and onions. And for Madam, steak and French fries with Roquefort sauce. A well-stocked table and an almost full stomach, but not enough not to succumb to the desserts of the house.

And what can we say about this French toast-like brioche and this cup of strawberries with whipped cream. A treat for the taste buds and a disaster for my diabetes! After having gobbled up these delicacies without restraint, it was time to return home in “digestive walk” mode.

It’s impossible to be disappointed when I come back from the bouillons de Paris and I can’t wait to go back this winter to publish new reviews and make new discoveries!
